The Bachelor of Arts & Bachelor of Laws Programme is a 5 Years integrated programme. The Programme is approved by Bar Council of India. Being an integrated course, the students can save one year for attaining the eligibility to practice as an advocate. On completion of the programme, the candidates will become eligible for registering as an advocate with Bar Council of India.
The Bar Council of India is the regulating body for all courses related to Law. Under its huge network, the Department of Legal Studies, Arunachal University of studies have been approved for providing B.A.LL.B. This course has also been recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) for providing students with an amazing career in the field of Indian Legal system.
With numerous courses in India under varied regulatory bodies, Law stands like a differentiated opportunity. One can make a start to pursue and complete a career in Law, just after they complete their higher secondary education. For what it holds is a proposition for all and with the widened network and opportunity at large, the students are updated without being constrained.
The internship, the trial practices, all are means for improving practical legal skills of the active participants. They try every means to supplement the book with the actual practical participation. Court visit, Legal aid camps conducted by faculties and students for needy, mock trials, moot court training, departmental seminars, counselling, educational excursion, group discussions and better awareness programs, like conducting of skits and plays, bringing forwards the socially burning issues, etc. are all a chance to learn and to implement.
For what these authorities provide, they know and they understand how well these students are necessary for the future of the nation. A real treasure is what they are called for their personality and constructive activities. They are taught to move ahead and to prove themselves to be the country’s civilized citizens. They are trained perfectly to maintain themselves and the faith of the country in them, with every session they hold and every trial they visit amidst the 3 years course of this extremely demanding course.

To pursue a degree in Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Law (B.A. - LL.B.) needs a 10+2 (Any Stream)certificate with 45% (5% relaxation for SC/ ST candidates). |

Fee reimbursement upto ₹ 50,000/- for APST candidates having family income less than ₹ 2,50,000/- (Two Lakhs Fifty Thousand) per annum under schemes offered by Central Govt./ State Govt. subject to compliance of prescribed terms and conditions.
